Architectural memorabilia - rare reproductions of engravings of the Louvre and Trajan's Column in Rome

A huge and impressive display piece, 

A set of 4 x framed and glazed architectural etchings printed by the Eichholtz design company.

Includes 2 x reproductions of engravings of the exterior of the Louvre Museum in Paris by Jacques-François Blonde. 

The two prints feature an annotated line drawing of the iconic building, bringing the elegance and glamour of the Parisian landmark effortlessly into a contemporary design scheme.

The first engraving depicts the principal facade facing Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois, 1756.

The second shows the southern facade of the Eastern end of the Louvre (the ‘Old Louvre’), facing the River Seine, constructed during the reign of Louis XIV, according to designs by Claude Perrault.

Both prints come in a piano black frame with clear glass.

These each measure 110cm x 52cm.

The other two frames feature images of Trajan's Column, Rome, that commemmorates Roman Emperor Trajan's victory in the Dacian Wars.

These two reproductions illustrate the external elevation showing the amazing frieze, and the cross-section showing the shaft with spiral staircase. 

Both prints come in a piano black frame with clear glass.
