Harry Potter cast signed poster estimated at just £75 at Bamford Auctioneers

A stunning 1 meter tall Warner Brothers Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire movie poster signed by the main cast members of the film, is due to be auctioned by Bamford Auctioneers in Derby, United Kingdom on 13th December with an estimate of just £75.

The advertising poster, which measures 106 cm x 71 cm, has been signed in gold sharpie pen by cast members including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis amongst others,

Regardless of the low estimate the poster has already caught the eye of 11 interested bidders, including ourselves, on the-saleroom.com bidding platform looking to bag a bargain.

However, given the bouyant state of the Harry Potter memorabilia market we'd expect the poster to sell for a minimum £500.

The highest price ever paid for a Harry Potter cast signed poster is the $13,145 paid for a rare Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows poster signed by Radcliffe, Watson, Grint and Felton, signed in silver and in blue felt tip pens, which sold at Heritage Auctions in Dallas, in December 2011.

Harry Potter movie related memorabilia is amongst the most popular with collectors.

Harry's film used wand from the Goblet of Fire movie sold for $25,600 in July 2022, whereas a wand from the Deathly Hallows film sold for $10,100 in 2011.

Whereas first editions books have previously sold for up to £356,000 at auction and film prop envelopes seen in 2001s Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone movie have been sold for as much as $30,000.
