The Ferrari had been found in a barn in West Wales where it had lay hidden for over 40 years.

It is painted in the light metallic blue Azzuro with Connolly VM3015 light blue leather upholstery.

The car had been bought by the vendor in 1973 for £800 and used every day for 10 years before it was retired to the barn for a full restoration that never happened.

In the meantime the heads, carbs and gearbox have all gone missing, but apart from also missing it's front seats, and having holes in the floor, the 250 is fairly complete.

With an estimate of £40,000 - £60,000 the car required complete restoration which would probably cost in the region of £150,000.

So the buyer is all in for £260,000 for a car that when finished will likely sell for £350,000++.
