2. Hilda Ogden's famous curlers

Hilda Ogden, played by Jean Alexander, was another iconic character from the show's early days. Her distinctive curlers became as much a part of her character as her sharp tongue and fiery temper. In 2017, a set of Hilda's curlers sold for £2,300.

3. Ken Barlow's typewriter

Ken Barlow, played by William Roache, has been a mainstay of the show since the very beginning. His typewriter, which he used to write his many newspaper articles, sold for £1,800 in 2018.

4. Jack and Vera Duckworth's wedding certificate

Jack and Vera Duckworth, played by Bill Tarmey and Liz Dawn, were one of the show's most beloved couples. Their wedding certificate, which was used as a prop on the show, sold for £1,600 in 2015.

5. Elsie Tanner's barometer

Elsie Tanner, played by Patricia Phoenix, was one of the show's original characters and a true icon of British television. Her barometer, which featured prominently in many scenes on the show, sold for £1,500 in 2011.

6. Bet Lynch's leopard print coat

Bet Lynch, played by Julie Goodyear, was a fan-favorite character who was known for her outrageous fashion sense. Her leopard print coat, which she wore in many episodes of the show, sold for £1,400 in 2015.

7. Mike Baldwin's cufflinks

Mike Baldwin, played by Johnny Briggs, was a notorious womanizer and a business tycoon on the show. His signature cufflinks, which he wore in many scenes, sold for £1,200 in 2017.
