Tiger Woods signed Nike golf ball

A Tiger Woods signed/autographed unused Nike Hi Launch golf ball .

The Nike golf ball transformed Tiger's game, as his caddie Steve Williams told golf.com

“When Tiger signed with Nike, [the ball] was one of the projects. It didn’t happen overnight. It was a couple years of engineering that went into developing the ball and getting it exactly right. And it wasn’t going to be put into play until such time that it was exactly how he wanted it.”

The ball was put in to play in 2000, which turned into Tigers' best ever year on tour.

In 2000 Tiger won three Majors and finished in the top 10 in 17 of his 20 competitions, with a scoring average that was a full 3 shots better than his professional golfing peers.

It was also with a Nike ball that Tiger hit his iconic chip on the 16th hole at the 2005 Masters - considered to be among the greatest golf shots of all time.

2022 has really been the year that Tiger Woods has established himself as the GOAT when it comes to golf memorabilia prices.

A set of his golf clubs sold for $5.16m but perhaps the most remarkable sale was the $186,000 achieved for a single signed golf ball - the one with which he shot his first ever professional hole-in-one at the 1996 Great Milwaukee Open.
