Film used wands are amongst the most popular pieces of Harry Potter memorabilia.

In 2013 an Elder Wand from The Deathly Hallows film sold for $10,100 at a Premiere Props aucton in California, more than doubling its estimate, with the provenance stating the wand had been used by both by Harry and Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes).

But it's not just the wands used by cast members that sell for big figures.

A 35cm long wooden prop wand from Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone sold for £1,850 at Mulberry Bank Auctions in October 2021.

These prop wands were used to fly out of the shelves at Olivander's wand store when Harry goes to purchase his first wand, and not actually used by cast members.

Any Potterhead will tell you that an Olivander wand costs 7 galleons in Muggle money. Approximately $175.
