The football jersey worn by Sergio Aguero, as he scored the last minute winner to give Manchester City their first Premier League title win, is heading to auction with a £15,000 - £25,000 estimate.
The shirt was due to be sold by Graham Budd Auctions in May 2022 with a £20,000 - £30,000 but now finds itself up for sale at Hansons Auctions on 3rd November.
Aguero's late winner clinched a 3-2 win against QPR on the last day of the season, securing Manchester City's first Premier League title after tears in the doldrums of the Championship and the low point in the football league first division.
The title ended City's 44 year wait for the title, with the added bonus that they denied city neighbours Manchester United the title.
Aguero's goal has been described as the most important in the history of Manchester City
The shirt was initially taken by Aguero's teammate Mario Balotelli as a souvenir, but Mario left in his kit bag at the stadium.
The shirt was later found by a Man City kit man and donated to the National Football Shirt Collection, owned by Neville Evans, who has now consigned the lot for sale, with Hansons stating that proceeds will go to testicular cancer charities.
The shirt remains unwashed from the day Aguero wore it and is covered in champagne stains from the post match celebrations.
