Hampel Fine Art Auctions in Munich, Germany are offering the year's best football memorabilia auction to date; including a Diego Maradona match worn shirt with a €30,000 - 40,000 estimate.
The Argentinian National short was worn by Maradona during a friendly match versus Brazil on February 18th 1993.
The match is considered special to fans of Maradona as it was his first for Argentina following his 15 month ban for cocaine abuse in 1991.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw after Brazil equalised in the 60th minute.
Game worn Maradona shirts are rare - and Maradona of course holds the highest price ever paid for a piece of sports memorabilia, with his infamous (If you're English) Hand of God shirt selling for £7,142,500 at Sothebys in May 2022.
The Hampel auction also includes a Real Madrid match worn shirt worn by Hungarian footballer Ferenc Puskas, widely regarded to be one the world's greatest players.
Real Madrid legend Puskas is remembered for scoring two hatricks against Barcelona, home and away, in the 1963 season.
The shirt has an estimate of €60,000 - 80,000.
A Pele shirt is also available with an estimate of €50,000 - 70,000.
The shirt was worn by Pele for the Brazil national team, in a pre World Cup match versus Chilean football club 'Everton' on May 27th 1962, a match that Brazil won 9-1 with Pele scoring two goals.
Also available is a Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United match worn shirt with an estimate of €50,000 - 70,000.
Ronaldo wore the shirt during the Rome 2009 Champions League Final, which United lost 2-0 to Barcelona, with Lionel Messi scoring the winner.
A value item would appear to be a pair of Franz Beckenbauer match worn boots with an estimate of €3,500 - €4,500. 'The Kaiser' being one of only three footballers to have won the World Cup as player and coach.
