Pelé football memorabilia to be sold at Chaucer Auctions

Chaucer Auctions in Folkestone, United Kingdom are selling four pieces of Pelé football memorabilia in their 8th December Sport Autographs Auction, with bids starting at just £60.

Born as Edson Arantes do Nascimento, Pelé is a retired Brazilian footballer who is regarded as the greatest player of all time.

In 2000 Pele was voted the joint winner of the FIFA Player of the Century award, alongside Argentinian great Diego Maradona.

Despite spending much of his retirement signing memorabilia; Pelé memorabilia can sell for big bucks.

In February 2022 a 1958 Pelé rookie card became the most expensive rookie card in football history when it sold for $1,330,000 beating the $900,000 paid for another Pelé card, sold in November 2021.

And in 2016 a replica World Cup trophy presented to, and owned by Pelé, was sold by Julien's Auctions at a London auction, for £395,000.

Chaucer are offering a fantastic large 20 inch x 16 inch colour print, a limited edition numbered 78 of 100.
