Kate Bush is a British singer songwriter who first topped the charts with her 1978 song Wuthering Heights.

Since then she has had a steady fan base with 50,000 people a month searching her name on Google.

But those figures went ballistic in June 2022 when the US TV hit show 'Stranger Things' featured another of her songs 'Running Up That Hill', in the fourth season of the Netflix show.

That resulted in 2,300,000 people searching for Kate Bush in Google, as a whole new worldwide teenage fan base stepped forward.

The song quickly became the most streamed song worldwide on Spotify, earning Bush over $2.3m in royalties.

That makes Kate Bush memorabilia very popular, and interesting pieces like this hugely sought after.

The ear monitoring headphones had been designed for, and used by, Kate Bush during her 2014 'Before The Dawn' residency at the Hammersmith Apollo venue in London.

The headphones are to be auctioned with their original storage case and a rehearsal schedule dated Tuesday 29th July, with a set of lyrics, and a handwritten to-do list.

The provenance states the headphones are from the collection of Kate Bush's sound engineer who had worked with her on the Hammersmith Apollo set.

The headphone case also bears the name 'Mrs McIntosh;', Bush's married name.
